Ideadle is a free daily design game by Design Board Show, London. We keep as little as we can. No ads, no tracking cookies, no selling data.
What we store
- A random device ID saved in your browser, so you get one ranked try a day and see your result when you come back. It is not linked to your name.
- Your game: your sketch, your pitch, your score and time. Top ideas are shown to other players under your Marker number or nick.
- If you create an account: your nick, your email and your pattern password, which we only keep as a scrambled hash.
- Network: your IP address is turned into a daily scrambled code and short-term counters to stop cheating and abuse. We don't keep it to identify you.
- Things you send us: problem ideas and "Disagree with Marky" notes.
- Reminders: if you turn on notifications, your browser gives us an address to send them to.
Who helps us run it
- Cloudflare hosts the game and the database.
- Anthropic powers Marky: your sketch and pitch are sent to score them. Your device ID, email and IP are not sent.
- Resend sends account and daily problem emails.
- Apple, Google or Mozilla deliver notifications, if you turned them on.
Your browser
We use your browser's local storage for your device ID, sound setting, sign-in and which medals you have already seen. You can clear it any time in your browser settings.
Emails
The daily problem email is optional. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can turn it off in your account.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, including your account and your ideas. Email kostyshyn.ost@gmail.com and we will do it.
Age
Ideadle is meant for players aged 13 and over.
